COMING AFTER VERIFICATION
HOW TO TRADE

Three steps.
Keep everything inside the order.

The safest operating principle is simple: use the exchange's official order flow and do not bypass escrow or move the conversation into an unverified settlement path.

01

Choose the marketplace

Select a supported P2P exchange and open only the verified OTCFlow profile link published on this website.

02

Open the P2P order

Place your buy or sell order through the exchange itself so the transaction follows its P2P and escrow rules.

03

Complete & confirm

Follow the order instructions, verify settlement and release digital assets only when the required conditions are satisfied.

WHY ESCROW MATTERS

Don't build a P2P business around blind trust.

Escrow can reduce counterparty risk by holding the digital asset within the marketplace workflow until the transaction conditions are met. It does not eliminate fraud, banking, compliance or operational risk.

TRADE SAFETY

Five rules worth
making non-negotiable.

01

Use verified links

Publish your genuine merchant-profile links here once they exist. Clients should never rely on usernames sent by strangers.

02

Never bypass escrow

If a P2P order uses escrow, keep the transaction within that protected workflow.

03

Verify actual receipt

Do not rely solely on screenshots or payment claims. Follow the marketplace's verification procedure.

04

Match the counterparty

Apply applicable identity, account-name and transaction checks before settlement.

05!

Stop on anomalies

Unexpected third-party payments, pressure to leave the platform or changed instructions are reasons to stop and review.

P2P FAQ

Know the workflow
before you trade.

What is P2P crypto trading? +

P2P trading allows buyers and sellers to transact through a marketplace that provides an order workflow and, on supported platforms, escrow for the digital asset.

What is the difference between OTC and P2P? +

Direct OTC is negotiated with a desk and settled according to the agreed process. P2P execution takes place through a third-party marketplace's order, payment and escrow workflow.

Does escrow make a trade completely risk-free? +

No. Escrow can reduce certain counterparty risks, but fraud, banking, identity, regulatory, operational and platform risks can still exist.

How do I know an OTCFlow exchange profile is genuine? +

Only profiles linked from OTCFlow's official website should be treated as published profiles. The current prototype intentionally contains no claimed merchant-profile links because those must be verified before launch.

Can I trade without verification? +

OTCFlow's intended workflow is verification-led. The exchange may also impose its own KYC and eligibility requirements.

Are P2P rates the same as direct OTC rates? +

Not necessarily. Marketplace liquidity, advertiser pricing, fees, payment methods and market timing can affect the executable rate.
